A Place In The Mun

In the aftermath of the property crash, Ireland’s housing market is more cut throat than ever. Homeowners are reeling from the effects of negative equity, as renters are being squeezed at both ends by cynical landlords and vulture funds.

All of this has resulted in the market being turned upside down. Now Ballymun, a much maligned area of the city, is in high demand by southside middle class buyers, as well as rich culchies with notions.

The visible Garda presence, abundance of recreational areas as well as the friendly locals have made this a very attractive place to live. And the only place most people can afford..
